Located in the picturesque village of Allihies, County Cork, Strand View Holiday Homes offer space for six or seven people and all the modern facilities needed for a comfortable stay. The homes sit near the beach and a range of amenities.

Strand View Holiday Homes are situated in the pretty village of Allihies, at the tip of the Beara Peninsula in West Cork. They overlook sandy Ballydonegan Beach and afford views of the Atlantic Ocean stretching from Dursey Island to Cod’s Head and the Caha Mountain Range as it sweeps down to the sea.

Strand View Holiday Homes are newly constructed and fitted to a four-star standard. Each holiday home sleeps six or seven people. Downstairs, guests will find a cosy sitting room with timber flooring, a high quality leather suite, open fire, large flat-screen TV, satellite channels and DVD player. They can prepare meals with ease in the fully-fitted kitchen, which includes dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, refrigerator, separate freezer, cooker, microwave, electric coffee percolator and a wide range of utensils. The kitchen table extends to seat eight people, so meals with friends and family can be enjoyed. Additionally, double doors lead to the spacious patio, which has a picnic table and sun loungers for warm days. There is a large downstairs bathroom and ample storage area in the hallway.

Upstairs, there are three bedrooms, one of which is ensuite. A spacious main bathroom features a bath and an electric shower. Bed linen, towels, cot and high chair are all provided free of charge.

There is a small charge for electricity and heating oil based on visitors’ usage.

Allihies Village is renowned for its brightly painted houses. It offers everything a visitor needs for a relaxing, ‘get away from it all’ holiday in an area of spectacular natural beauty. The village has a mini-supermarket, three traditional pubs, two cafes and a restaurant. Local activities include walking, pony trekking, sailing, golfing and taking day trips.
