Carraig Gorm provides spacious self-contained accommodation for up to five people with views of Donegal bay from Ben Bulben in Sligo to Slieve League Sea Cliffs near Killybegs. Situated 8kms south of Donegal town, it is an ideal location for golfing at Donegal Golf Club at nearby Murvagh beach; for sea and lake fishing; for surfing; for biking; for hill-walking; for exploring the miles of beaches and quiet valleys nearby; and for touring the North West.

The self-contained accommodation is adjacent to a family home and has its own entrance and private terrace. It can comfortably accommodate five people in 3 bedrooms; 2 bathrooms; living-room with open fire; utility; entrance hall and well equipped kitchen-dining room. There’s oil-fired central heating and wood for open fire and wood-burning stove is also provided. Visitors are often content to sit over tea and homemade scones and admire the views of Donegal bay from Ben Bulben in Sligo to Slieve League Sea Cliffs near Killybegs.

Tucked away up a small road but convenient to the main road and local amenities, Carraig Gorm is also the ideal spot to tour the North West and to engage in the many opportunities for outdoor activities nearby. Lovers of wild life will appreciate the rabbits, pheasants and bird life in the garden and the buzzards overhead. There are seals on the strand and dolphins visit nearby Creevy Pier and St. John’s Point.

Situated 8kms south of Donegal town with hotels, restaurants and music pubs, Carraig Gorm is also an ideal location for those keen on outdoor action. There are miles of bike trails on the small roads that interlace the countryside and seaside. Golfers can arrange to play at Donegal Golf Club at nearby Murvagh beach.
