Pure Adventure Bring you into the Heart of the Country side through the Use of the waterways of the South East, Namely the Rivers Barrow, Nore And Suir and the South East coastline By means of Kayaks, canoes and Stand Up Paddle Boards.
Pure Adventure offers Stand Up Paddle Boarding from June-September on the River Nore. Sitting in the shadow of Kilkenny Castle, the River Nore feels like the Venice of the South East as you cruise under bridges into the heart of the city.
Other activities on offer include kayaking and canoeing trips of the River Barrow. Participants will navigate this ancient waterway viewing and reliving part of Ireland’s history as they pass by the remains of old mills, castles, and stately homes.
You can also spot wildlife on your travels. Heron lie in wait for their latest catch while tiny Kingfishers flutter from tree to tree. Salmon and Trout can also be seen leaping from the surface of the water.
Sea kayaking is also offered on the Waterford coastline. Known as the Copper Coast, these tours will show you impressive sea stacks and other features of coastal erosion such as tunnels, blow holes and caves.
