A celebration of quality, local food with a taste trail & farmers' market. Where local food can take you anywhere!
Flavour of Killorglin is a celebration of the culinary delights of Killorglin and the surrounding area, combining great food with events and entertainment for all visitors.
Local artisans and restaurateurs will showcase the wonderful food, produce and cuisine for which the area is renowned, from crusty baked bread to locally smoked salmon and mouth-watering Kerry lamb.
The main activities take place on Saturday, centred on the Taste Trail in over 20 venues across the town, where tasters are on sale in exchange for Flavour Vouchers throughout the day. Coinciding with the Taste Trail is the Flavour Market, which will host a variety of local food producers as well as budding young food entrepreneurs at the Mini-Market!
The festival will launch Recognition of Sustainability in Food Production and Recognition of Sustainability in Food Service awards during Flavour 2014.
The food on display and on offer is married with music and arts entertainment from Friday through to Sunday.
