We move on when we are ready and you have finished capturing those special images. Why Hop On & Hop Off when you can take your time with Belfast Photographic Tours and learn something that will last a lifetime? Learn to take better photographs on your holiday or short break. Learn a new skill and see the sights, we tour Belfast and further afield including the World Heritage site, The Giants Causeway. Learn the secrets of taking pictures that will impress and capture images that would look good on any wall. Belfast Photographic Tours operates with small groups (max 10) in our own minibus. There is loads of room for kit and on every tour you will have access to tripods, filters and other accessories at no extra charge. Essential tools for the night tours. No camera? No problem! We carry loan camera equipment that allows everyone to get involved in some way. There is no charge for the equipment but we do ask you to bring or buy your own memory card which you can take home with you. Everyone is welcome on our tours. If you, your friend or other half are not into photography, fret not. There is plenty to see and do on the tours and if they fancy picking up a camera and having a go we will always have a loan camera available for them to play with. How do we do it? Belfast Photographic tours aims to help you see the world with new eyes. We will help you create images that will express to others your unique experience in Belfast and Northern Ireland. We will collect you from your hotel, or one of the designated pick up points in the city and take you in our own private minibus to see the sights. And of course being small we get to go where the big buses can’t go. What tours do we offer? Walking tour – A walking tour around the centre of Belfast, taking in the well-known and not so well known sights that make this great city what it is today. We look at the old and the new, and spend up to 3 hours concentrating on the photography. Towards the end of the tour we get a coffee and talk photography! Half day tours – This tour takes in the sights and sounds of Belfast. The tour lasts approximately 3.5 hours and you will see what makes Belfast such a great city. We will teach you to take the impressive pictures you have always wanted, and which you will be proud to hang on your wall. Full day tours – The full day tour means that we get to explore a little further and we will not only see the sights of Belfast, but also a little beyond the city boundaries. We may visit Carrickfergus Castle, Stormont Buildings and Scrabo Tower with its fabulous views along Strangford Lough. (Weather permitting). Giant’s Causeway and the Coastal route You may choose to join the tour to the north coast which takes in some or all of the following: Carrickfergus Castle, the famous scenic Glens of Antrim, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Dunluce Castle, World Heritage site - The Giants Causeway, Port Stewart Strand and Mussenden Temple. This itinerary may vary depending on weather conditions and a selection of these sites will be visited on any one day. Night tours – This one is for the more serious photographers or for those that want to expand their skills. An evening spent taking in the night sights of Belfast, photographing the illuminated buildings of Queens University, Belfast Rise, Stormont Buildings, The Waterfront and bridges over the River Lagan. We supply the tripods and effects filters; all you have to do is take the night shots that shine and impress your friends. Bespoke tours – If you are visiting Belfast with a group of friends or family, and would like to travel together as a group and visit somewhere special then we are available to help. We will pick you up and you just tell us where you want to go. Back to your roots – If you are visiting Northern Ireland to trace your roots then let us make your visit special. We can take you to your ancestral home and not only do you get your own private tour along the way, but we will also photograph your day and create a special record of the moment you returned ‘home’.
