- The next issue of the Music in the Classroom magazine will be published on Tuesday, 8th April, 2008.
- This issue will provide you with all the information you need to know about the woodwind family. There will be interviews with orchestra members, quizzes, fun things to make and do and a look at The Nutcracker Suite by Tchaikovsky.

- The Tour concerts will begin in the Millennium Forum, Derry on Monday 14th January, 2008, then to Leisureland, Galway, UCH Limerick and finishing in City Hall, Cork on Thursday, 17th January. There are still a limited number of places available for the Cork and Derry concerts. To book please email mitc@irish-times.ie.
- Programme 3 concerts will begin in the National Concert Hall on Tuesday 26th February. These concerts are all sold out. The booking form for concerts for 2008-2009 will appear in The Irish Times on Tuesday, 13th May, 2008
