The Grand Hotel, in Moate County Westmeath, is owned and managed by John Joe Claffey and his family. Moate is home to the Tuar Árd Centre, which incorporates a 200 seat Theatre, Art Gallery, Conference and Information Centre, as well as the Dun na Sí Cultural and Heritage Centre, which is County Westmeath's designated genealogical research centre.
