Annie’s Cottage is a stone cottage set in a quiet cul-de-sac in the picturesque seaside village of Castletownshend, West County Cork. It can accommodate up to four people in two bedrooms, one of which has two twin beds with a bathroom next to it, and the other has a king bed and ensuite shower room. The downstairs contains a living room with cosy open fire, as well as a fully fitted kitchen/breakfast room. There is electric heating throughout the house. Other amenities include radio with CD player and TV with DVD player. Bed linen and towels are included free, while electricity is charged as used. Outside, guests will find an enclosed private garden.
While staying in Castletownshend, visitors will find many ways to pass the time. The village is home to 2 pubs, a restaurant, and a shop. It also serves as an excellent touring base, as Skibbereen, Clonakilty, Bandon, Bantry, Cork City and Kinsale are within easy reach. The market town of Skibbereen is just 5 miles away. Here there are supermarkets, banks, ATM, chemists etc. On Saturdays there is a farmers market in the town.
