Rockfield House is situated on a small farm in Moycullen Galway where the Griffin family have farmed for four generations. This three bedroom four star Irish Tourist Board approved holiday home, is attached to the owners guest house. It has been renovated to a cosy standard and is a wonderful base from which to tour and enjoy the West of Ireland. Access to the property is by way of a ramped footpath suitable for wheelchair users. The accommodation consists of a lounge with an open fireplace, kitchen/diner, three bedrooms,(two double and one twin), and three bathrooms one of which is wheelchair friendly. There is oil fired central heating and an open fire in the lounge. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Additional furnishings include a cot, a TV, DVD player, electric cooker, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and microwave. There is an enclosed lawned garden with patio and garden furniture, and off road parking for two cars. There is a wealth of quality restaurants, traditional pubs and craft shops to explore in Moycullen. Moycullen also offers excellent coarse fishing, pony trekking and riding lessons. There are additonally three golf courses within a five minute drive of the property. The owners have a keen interest in the heritage and culture of the area and will advise you about locations for Irish music and dance cabaret or a Gaelic football/hurling match.
