The scenic village of Inistioge has miles of forest walks and is famous for being the location of the films ‘Windows Peak’ and ‘Circle of Friends’.
Hillcrest Lodge is a sunny south facing bungalow featuring, two double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms. It is suitable for up to eight adult guests. There is a main bathroom with bath and shower and two of the bedrooms boast ensuite bathrooms. There is also a living room, dining room and separate kitchen. The cosy living room has a sofa, armchairs, TV and an open fireplace. The dining room has adequate seating for up to eight people. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances including a washing machine, drying machine, microwave oven and fridge freezer. The house is kept toasty warm by oil central heating and electric storage heating, as well as being double glazed throughout.
The town of New Ross is only 8km away and there you can visit the impressive emigrant ship, take a cruise on the Galley cruising restaurant or relax at Oaklands coarse angling lake. There is also a variety of small shops, restaurants and cafes in New Ross town. The heritage town of Kilkenny is only 34km away and makes for a great day trip to take a step back into Irish history.
