Church Hill Cottage is a stone cottage set in a quiet cul-de-sac in the picturesque seaside village of Castletownshend, West County Cork.
It sleeps five to six people in three bedrooms, two of which are upstairs. There is a small single bedroom with ensuite shower room on the ground floor. The downstairs also contains a living room with cosy open fire, as well as a fully fitted kitchen/breakfast room. There is electric heating throughout the house. Other amenities include radio with CD player and TV with DVD player. Bed linen and towels are included free, while electricity is charged as used. Outside, guests will find an enclosed private garden.
While staying in Castletownshend, visitors will find many ways to pass the time. The village is home to 2 pubs, a restaurant, and a shop. It also serves as an excellent touring base, as Skibbereen, Clonakilty, Bandon, Bantry, Cork City and Kinsale are within easy reach. The market town of Skibbereen is 5 miles away where there are several supermarkets, restaurants, chemists etc. There is also a farmer's market held there every Saturday.
