The Gardens at Burtown House come to life in early February with a spectacular show of winter aconites, planted over 100 years ago, snowdrops, cyclamen, hellebores and early bulbs, followed by many varieties of daffodils, hellebores and trilliums. Open every day 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. The new exhibition Vanishing Ireland will be on show in the Gallery Cafe which will serve hearty soups, teas, coffees and other goodies. Twenty five minutes drive from Altamont Gardens.
