Inishkeeragh Lodge is a modern detached holiday home with commanding views of Lough Erne.
Set on a small island between the villages of Kesh and Belleek, home of the world famous pottery, it provides a tranquil and peaceful haven to either relax or pursue a range of outdoor activities such as fishing, walking, water-sports etc. 40 minutes will take you to the Atlantic Coast with magnificent beaches and an abundance of restaurants and bars to choose from.
Notes on Accommodation
Oil fired central heating (no extra charge), open coal fire, (coal and logs provided at no extra charge). We have a non smoking home and sorry no pets. Due to the layout of our house it is not suitable for children under 3 years. A welcome pack is available on request at an extra charge.
Accessibility
Unfortunately the layout of the house, spread over a number of floors does not make it suitable for those with walking difficulties.
Outside
Inishkeeragh Lodge is set in half an acre of garden laid to lawn with access to the Lough shore and shared private jetty. There is a patio at the rear of the Lodge with picnic table and seating. It is ideal for enjoying the early evening sun while enjoying a glass of wine or two. A portable barbeque is available for use. There is driveway parking for up to 3 cars and a boat. For added security access to the site is by fully automated entrance gates. No jet skis are to be used from the jetty or slipway.
Activities
Nearby Castle Cauldwell and Castlearchdale Forest Parks are ideal for a gentle stroll. At Lough Navar, some 15 miles away, you can walk or cycle along the various trails or just enjoy the scenic drive that leads to a magnificent viewpoint over Lower Lough Erne. For the more adventurous why not visit the Marble Arch Caves Global Geopark? It encompasses 18,000 hectares of rugged mountainous uplands and gentle rolling lowlands and stunning underground caves where you will experience a fascinating world of stalagmites and stalactites.
Within a 20 mile radius there is a choice of 4 golf courses including the ultimate golf course at Lough Erne Golf Resort. Set on its own peninsula and designed by Nick Faldo to full USGA specification, it affords perfect year round playing conditions.
The Fermanagh Lakelands offer a haven for game or coarse anglers with its abundance of loughs and rivers. Choose from fishing for the famous sonaghan or gillaroo trout or bream, roach and pike. Permits are usually required and can be purchased in nearby Belleek.

Off-road horse-riding is available at Castlearchdale Forest Park as well as a specially designed family cycle trail.
Coast/Beach
The dramatic Rossnowlagh Beach which is a surfers’ paradise or almost deserted Murvagh Beach on the west coast of Co Donegal are approximately 20 miles away. Rosses Point and Mullaghmore beaches in Co Sligo are about 35 miles away and are great for gentle strolls or flying kites!
Travel
Kesh is approximately 90 miles (2 hours) from the main airports and ferry ports. A hire car is essential. Enniskillen town is approximately 25 miles away. The nearest villages of Kesh and Belleek are approximately 9 miles distance. Donegal town is about 40 minutes drive away.
Further Details
There is a great range of restaurants and bars from Enniskillen to Donegal whether you’re after fine dining, a lively bistro, a pint of Guinness in a traditional pub or a relaxing evening at the theatre on the banks of Lough Erne. Enjoy home baking in the only original thatched building in Belleek or take the short drive to Donegal town where there you will be spoilt for choice with the numerous restaurants set around the town square. A few miles out of Donegal experience fine dining in the upmarket hotels overlooking Lough Eske and surrounded by the Blue Stack mountains. Enjoy local cooking at the many hotels and restaurants at Mullaghmore or Rosses Point in Co Sligo. Your only problem will be fitting everything into your visit!

For walkers there is a choice of forest parks, Lough Navar, Castle Cauldwell and Castle Archdale well within 10 miles.
