The Mews Cottage is a cosy stone cottage set in a quiet cul-de-sac in the picturesque seaside village of Castletownshend, West County Cork. It can accommodate up to 3 people in one bedroom with double and single bed. Off the bedroom is the bathroom with bath, wash hand basin and toilet (no shower). The downstairs has a living room that incorporates a fitted kitchen as well as an open fire and storage heater. Other amenities include radio with CD player and TV with DVD player. Bed linen and towels are included free, while electricity is charged as used. Outside, guests will find an enclosed private garden. While staying in Castletownshend, visitors will find many ways to pass the time. The village is home 2 pubs, a restaurant, and a shop. It also serves as an excellent touring base, as Skibbereen, Clonakilty, Bandon, Bantry, Cork City and Kinsale are within easy reach. the market town of Skibbereen is just 5 miles away where you will find supermarkets, restaurants, chemists, banks, ATM, etc. There is a farmer's market in the town every Saturday morning.
