Foxhollow Cottage is conveniently situated 500m from Louisburgh on the shores of Clew Bay, County Mayo and some 20km from the large shopping town of Westport. The cottage is capable of sleeping eight people in three ensuite bedrooms. Linen and towels are supplied. At Foxhollow Cottage, guests will find a fully equipped kitchen/dining area and utility room, as well as a living room with cosy open fire. Louisburgh is an ideal base for a holiday in the West of Ireland. The village is a gateway to the rugged splendour of Connemara and the national park at Letterfrack. The Clew Bay shoreline near Louisburgh is noted for its pleasant beaches, many with EU Blue Flag status. Offshore the inhabited islands of Clare and Inishturk beckon. The region is excellent for walking and cycling, and a climb of the majestic Croagh Patrick is a must. Horse riding, golf, sailing and fishing are available, as is surf board hire and training.
