Skellig Cottages are located in Dungegan, on the magnificent Skellig Ring between Waterville and Valentia Island, in County Kerry. The houses are built in a style which reflects the traditional Irish Cottage, combined with all the necessary modern amenities, to make your stay one of complete relaxation and comfort. Husband and wife team Neil and Teresa O'Shea manage the cottages, Neil is a native of the region and his family has resided in Kerry for generations.
The five, three bedroom, four star designed cottages offer the best in modern holiday accommodation while maintaining a link to the traditional Irish styled cottage. The property features a fully equipped kitchen, a Living/Dining Room, which can seat six for dinner, a downstairs ensuite double bedroom and one double bedroom and a twin bedroom upstairs. Bed linen is supplied and a cot and high chair can be provided if required.
Ballinskelligs is a village in the south-west of the Iveragh peninsula in the Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking) region of County Kerry. The Skellig rocks form a spectacular sight from the Ballinskellig coast. The rocks in question are Skellig Michael and Little Skellig, an ancient monastic colony which lies off the coast from Ballinskellings.
