Ireland’s own Jason Byrne has consistently sold more tickets than anyone ever on the Fringe! Coming from this year’s Edinburgh Fringe, Jason Byrne is back by popular demand to perform his critically acclaimed show at Cork Opera House on Friday, 11th December 2009.

Jason’s performance will include more unbelievable stories about his many mishaps with his home life with his children and why living with him is starting to give his wife a nervous breakdown!  For the first time Jason discloses stories from his childhood including the time at the age of 12 when he had a lazy eye and wore a patch over his glasses and how his parents raised him while also looking after his Granny in the same house.

Jason is currently working on his second BBC Radio 2 series ‘The Jason Byrne Show’ and has just got back from a sell-out run in Sydney and Melbourne, where he featured on every TV and radio show that exists!  He has just finished his latest RTE television project, to air later this year, as well as the fourth series of the hugely successful show ‘Anonymous’ for RTE, his celebrity guests have included Craig Doyle, Brian Dowling and Nikki from Westlife amongst others.
