Win an amazing 2 night stay at The Lodge at Doonbeg

The Lodge at Doonbeg

The Lodge at Doonbeg encapsulates an extraordinary experience where no two visits are the same, ensuring you’ll want to come back again and again.

Imagine a place where luxury accommodation combines with an intimate spa, world class golf and exquisite dining. Where every taste is considered and every request is catered to.

Imagine a coastal haven on a sheltered corner of the Atlantic Ocean, a rugged landscape that stretches as far as the eye can see, across rolling waves and sand dunes and thousands of years of stories, buried within them.

With every small detail carefully considered, the standard of accommodation at Doonbeg is unprecedented, offering a distinct departure from generic hotel offerings and raising a new benchmark for the discerning guest.

All of our luxury accommodation - each one different from the next – are meticulously designed with hand-selected antiques and reclaimed woods & beams. Every room and suite enjoys its own individual personality and style, each tailored to fit modern demands for comfort, in an understated, yet luxurious manner, making us one of the most unique 5 star hotels Ireland has to offer.

Award-winning chef Wade Murphy has applied his culinary style and influence to the dining experience at Doonbeg – from gastronomic favourites at the informal Darby’s Pub to more creative dishes in the Ocean front Long Room Restaurant.

Named after the white foamy crowns of the rolling Atlantic waves, the White Horses spa was designed by internationally renowned Irish-born designer Clodagh and opened in 2006. Inspired by the natural environment of Co. Clare, regenerative treatments using local natural salts, seaweeds, algae, and herbal extracts recall the ancient wisdom of ritual healing.

Guests can enjoy body scrubs, Thai and Swedish Massage, Basalt Stone Massage, Sea Spirulina and Mud Body Wraps, Aromatherapy and Reflexology, all adding to the overall experience of staying in one of the most luxurious 5 star hotels in Ireland.

Doonbeg Golf Course which is onsite was officially opened in 2002, and was immediately designated as Golf Digest’s “Best New International Course.”

Maybe the last true links course to be built in either Ireland or England, Doonbeg golf course in Clare is ideally situated between two of Ireland’s other top ranked courses, Ballybunion and Lahinch, making it one of the best golf breaks Ireland.

There is a wealth of activities both onsite including fishing, bicycle trip, a stunning mile long beach not to mention the extensive array of activates which lie just beyond our doorstep, from horseback riding to rock climbing, deep sea fishing to dolphin watching there is something for everyone.
