Had a similar experience in M&S Cork last week. Chocolates which were "Buy 1 get 1 half price" didn't show up like that on the receipt.

I've contacted M&S and am still awaiting a reply.

Conor I think it's worth keeping an eye on a lot more M&S reductions to see if they really are reductions. I often see items such as fresh meat or fruit in the store advertised as being half price and wonder if they would ever be on sale in the store at the full price. Grapes on sale at 4.99 - there is no way the same punnet would be on the shelves at €9.98..etc. I'm going shopping on Saturday and I'll have a look for some items and them again in a few weeks and see...

M&S are demons for this sort of thing. They are also very poor at having prices properly displayed on the shelves. If a price isn't displayed on an item, don't buy it and tell the floor manager. It's the only way they'll learn.
