Camping, or “glamping” (glamorous camping, for those not in the loop!), is increasingly popular with tourists and Irish people looking to take a stay-at-home holiday these days. As long as the wonderful Irish weather stays on your side, camping has many advantages: it brings you close to nature, it is low cost and of course it’s great fun too (you have our scout’s honour!). Surprisingly, a few nights in a field can be great craic for a family, particularly if you pick the right camping grounds.
