Run by the Lynch family since 1830, Fairhill House has a reputation for providing excellent hospitality, authentic cuisine and comfortable rooms. The 25 guest rooms have TV, hairdryer, Internet access, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Additionally, six rooms boast terraces with views of the mountains and surrounding countryside.
While staying at Fairhill House, travellers can indulge in scrumptious cuisine at the hotel restaurant. The award-winning chefs prepare a range of traditional and international dishes, ranging from morning Irish breakfasts to seafood chowder and great steaks later in the day. After dinner, visitors can drop into Eddie’s, a traditional bar that serves food throughout the day as well as a range of beverages. The bar features regular live music.
Fairhill House is also an ideal location for weddings in Connemara. The hotel typically caters for no more than one reception per week, so each event gets personalized attention. The hotel’s function room can cater for up to 200 people.
