Esplanade, Bray, Wicklow,
Mr John Fitzsimons
The Strand Hotel on the Seafront in Bray is within walking distance of the town centre, Dart station, and the famous Cliff Walk which was the former residence of Sir William Wilde (father of Oscar Wilde, the famous Irish playwright).
The Strand Hotel changed hands in February 2015 and has undergone extensive renovations to restore it to its former glory. The Bar is open daily, serving an extensive menu until 2100. We also cater for all occasions and show live sporting fixtures. There are 10 en-suite rooms decorated in a style suited to the era of the original building. We look forward to welcoming guests to our newly restored function room - previously unseen - with original fireplaces which were imported on the wishes of Lady Jane Wilde.
