Virginia Park Lodge rests in its own private 100 acre estate in the picturesque village of Virginia, County Cavan, which is just 40 minutes from Dublin. The hotel was formerly the summer residence of the Marquis of Headfort, but now it serves as a haven where travellers can relax and unwind in beautiful surroundings.
The hotel offers double and twin bedrooms that feature TV, high quality duvets, direct dial telephone, power showers, and tea and coffee making facilities. Guests can also make use of complimentary WiFi in the lobby.
The hotel’s bistro serves snacks and traditional lunch favourites from Thursday to Sunday, but no visit is complete without indulging in a sumptuous meal at the Marquis Dining Room, which has been awarded One Rosette from AA. The Park Hotel is owned by Baltimore International College, one of the leading culinary and hospitality schools in the United States, so guests are guaranteed a wonderful dining experience. Many of the ingredients used are grown in the hotel’s greenhouses and kitchen gardens, or obtained from local farmers.
