Mary and Jim welcome you to our home on Valentia Island, the ideal start to your holiday in the famous Ring of Kerry1hr. drive south of Killarney is where you will find the real Ireland the jewel in the crown, unspoilt landscape, fresh unpolluted Air, no traffic (except maybe a flock of sheep being moved by the farmer), a place to relax and unwind, or take part on the many activities available to you in the area, eg, boat trip to the world famous Skellig Rocks, now an U.N.E.S.C.O. world heritage site, a fishing trip on the sea or on a lake, Water sports, horse riding, walking, cycling, golf, and bird watching.

Luxury accommodation, en-suite rooms, with spectacular sea and mountain views, overlooking Portmagee village and harbour.Superior rooms are larger with the benefit of power showers, all rooms have tea/coffee, hairdryer, electric blankets, cd/clock radio, local information folder, fridge for guests use.

In the guest lounge there is satellite television, and many interesting books to read, also you can sit and watch the portmagee fishing boats return from fishing with their daily catch.

We have an extensive breakfast menu; everything is cooked to order in the morning. We cater for vegetarians e.g., grilled mushrooms and tomato, pancake with maple syrup. Just to mention a few.
