An original thatched cottage overlooking Galway Bay, and located along the Wild Atlantic Way, Cloch Na Scith is conveniently located for day trips to the Burren, The Aran Islands, Connemara ,and Galway City.

The bed and breakfast has a very cosy sitting room with an open fire which the guests are invited and encouraged to use. The sitting room is for the guest use only and is therefore relaxing and tranquil. There is a fridge, kettle, tea and coffee making facilities available to all of our guests.


Fishing boats for hire locally for those who are fishing enthusiasts. Beautiful walks along the "Wild Atlantic Way" on your doorstep.

Local music and musicians available nightly during the summer months in the local village of Spiddal which is only a 2 minute drive or a 20 minute walk. Local restaurants and bar food within 2-6 km of the bed and breakfast.
The local bus service drops off and can collect you. Tour busses to the Aran Islands, Cliffs of Moher and Connemara can be arranged on request.

Bread making demonstration : tradional bread baked can be provided on request on the open fire.
