Megalithic tombs, dolmens, celtic ringforts and medieval castles are only a sample of what the locality has to offer. Located within a short driving distance are, Aillwee Caves (3km), Poulnabrone Dolmen and Caherconnell Stone Fort (6km), and Burren Perfumery (10km) .

The village boasts traditional craft shops and our weekly Farmers Market and Craft Fair showcases an array of local produce and craftwork.
