This is a lovely, Georgian, period country house. It has three large double and twin bedrooms available to guests, as well as three single en-suite bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom and treats such as a four poster bed, jacuzzi and open fire.

Breakfast starts with a generous buffet of fresh fruits, stewed and dried served with full cream yoghurt as well as cereals and juices. This is followed by a choice of 5 hot main courses including scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, fluffy pancakes with honey and crisp bacon, fresh gerb omelettes or old fashioned boiled eggs, laid by our own hens. There is also a lovely sitting room with lots of books, board games and TV. The elegant dining room has tea and coffee facilities available at all times. Breakfast is a generous buffet with lots of organic produce and home baking, as well as the traditional Irish breakfast to set you up for the day.
Located in Boyle, County Roscommon, Lough Key House is perfect for visitors looking to enjoy forest walks, cycling and horse riding nearby. Dinner is now available on a Saturday night only. Your host is Frances McDonagh.
