Welcoming home situated on outskirts of old market town - Newcastle West. Our home is a bungalow, so all rooms are on ground floor level which makes it easily accessible when carrying heavy luggage after a tiring journey. All bedrooms are brightly decorated with comfortable beds. On arrival a welcoming cup of tea/coffee and cookies is served by the host - Nuala. Guests are welcome to sit outdoors in the rear garden - weather permitting - and enjoy a cool drink if desired.

Come to stay at Shanagarry B&B where you will experience a homely atmosphere and a "Cead Mile Failte" at the door. On aarrival guests are treated to complimentary tea or coffee, accompanied by biscuits or delicious cake. No worries about parking your car as there is plenty of space at the front, side or rear of house.

Pretty gardens at the front and back of house. As we have a patio area with lounging chairs & garden table, you are welcome to sit outdoors (weather permitting) and enjoy a cool drink after a hectic day sight-seeing. If you like pets - our dogs "Judy & Rex" are quite friendly and enjoy all the attention from guests and visitors alike.

All bedrooms on ground floor level with comfortable beds and each room is painted in pretty pastel shades. For breakfast you can enjoy the "Full Irish" or you may prefer a lighter option e.g. scrambled eggs on toast/beans on toast etc., accompanied by a variety of breads and of course Nuala's delicious home baked Soda bread. A variety of cereals are available on the side board where you can help yourself. Porridge is also available.

A "No Smoking" policy operates inside our home but you can smoke outdoors.

Within walking distance from our home is a Park calle4d "Castle Demesne" which is very popular with walkers, joggers or just as a short cut into town. There is also a children's play area, 2 castles - Desmond Castle in Town Square and Glenquin outside the town are open to the public and are currently "free of charge".
